Malignant hydatidiform mole
Hydatidiform moles have a vesicular-like tissue that extends beyond the uterine cavity and invades deep into the myometrium or metastasizes elsewhere, known as malignant hydatidiform moles. The chance of 5% to 20% of hydatidiform moles becomes malignant hydatidiform moles or chorionic carcinoma, most of which occur within 6 months after hydatidiform moles are cleared, but there are also malignant changes that occur before hydatidiform moles are excreted. Although malignant hydatidiform mole has the characteristics of malignant tumor, the treatment effect and prognosis are better than choriocarcinoma.
