Minimally diseased nephropathy

Minimal change nephrosis (MCN), formerly known as lipid nephrosis. This disease is a group of glomeruli that are basically normal under light microscopy, fatty degeneration of proximal tubular epithelial cells, and fusion and disappearance of protrusions of glomerular epithelial foot processes under electron microscopy. Primary glomerular disease characterized by no mesangial cell proliferation, stroma widening, and immune deposition.
