Traumatic epilepsy

Traumatic epilepsy refers to epileptic seizures secondary to craniocerebral injury. It is more common in young adult men. People with a family history of epilepsy are more likely to occur. It can occur at any time after the injury. It is very difficult to predict. Appeared, late can start suddenly after years of healing of the head injury. However, not all patients with brain trauma have epilepsy. According to the time of the first seizure, it can be divided into early, middle and late epilepsy.
