Recessive spina bifida
Recessive spina bifida is the most common type of recessive spinal canal insufficiency, which is more common in the lumbosacral region. The laminae with one or more vertebrae are not fully closed, and the spinal canal contents are not bulging. The vast majority of recessive spina bifida is asymptomatic and has no external manifestations for life.
