Anterior cruciate ligament injury
Injury of anterior cruciate ligament of knee is more common than PCL injury. Fetto and Marshail (1980) reported that in 223 cases of ACL injury, 62% were compound injuries. 38% (75 cases) had simple ACL injury. ACL injury often occurs simultaneously with knee MCL, joint capsule and other injuries.
