Tibial stress fracture
Stress fractures are common injuries in sports and military training, and they are a type of overuse injury, also known as fatigue fractures. Unlike acute fractures caused by violence, stress fractures are the result of repetitive subliminal injury accumulation, and are characterized by simultaneous bone destruction and repair.
