Lymphedema
Lymphedema is due to the long-term stimulation of lymphatic stasis, which causes the skin and subcutaneous tissue to proliferate, deepen skin wrinkles, thicken and harden the skin, and can have spines and wart-like protrusions. It looks like elephant skin, so it is named elephantia. The disease is called "unknown swelling" by Chinese medicine.
