Surfer nodule
Surfer's knots are subcutaneous nodules that occur on the knees and back of the feet of a surfer. When surfing, the surfboard often rubs against the athlete's knees and back of the foot, which leads to thickening of the skin here. In addition, the disease seems to be related to the cold stimulus during seawater sports. Bone fragments or bone spurs can appear under the dorsal nodule of the affected area, which is a bony change caused by nodular compression for a long time.
