Congenital dislocation of knee
Congenital dislocation and subluxation of the knee are severe knee overextensions. There are more women in this disease, 2 to 8 times as many as men. More than half of the cases were complicated by other congenital malformations. Most patients do not have a familial genetic predisposition. Provenzano found a positive family history in 7 of 200 knee dislocation patients, and most were Larsen syndrome patients with hand, foot deformities, and other large joint dislocations.
