Pregnancy vomiting
Vomiting of pregnancy. Pregnant women show mild nausea and vomiting during early pregnancy. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it obstruction. However, if frequent vomiting can not eat, resulting in dehydration, metabolic disorders, nutritional disorders, it is called hyperemesis gravidarum. The cause of pregnancy vomiting is not very clear. It may be related to the sharp increase in the amount of chorionic gonadotropin secreted by the placenta, but it is also believed to be caused by brain dysfunction. Pregnancy vomiting can heal after a short period. The prognosis for mild patients is good, but timely treatment is required to prevent the disease from progressing to the severe stage. The prognosis of most severe patients is also good after treatment. Individuals with extremely severe illness have a poor prognosis, and pregnancy should be terminated.
