Senile acute arterial embolism

Acute arterial embolism: A thrombus from the heart or an atherosclerotic plaque falling off the arterial wall. Blocking peripheral arteries, large or small, along the blood stream is called acute arterial embolism. Only limb embolism is discussed here.
