Klebsiella pneumonia, also called pneumococcal pneumonia, is an acute lung inflammation caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae. It is more common in patients with old age, malnutrition, chronic alcoholism, chronic bronchial-lung disease, and systemic failure. In the past two decades, these have become the main pathogenic bacteria of hospital-acquired pneumonia, the number of resistant strains has increased, and the production of ultra-broad spectrum enzymes has become a difficult point in the prevention and treatment.
