Mouth Descending Muscle Dysplasia

Cardiofacial syndrome (cardiofacial syndrome) is also known as asymmetric crying face, congenital hypocorneal muscular dysplasia syndrome. In 1969, Cayler found that patients with this disease often had cardiovascular malformations. It is characterized by dysplasia or loss of the descending muscles of the corners of the mouth, causing the patient to have asymmetry on the lower lips when crying.
