Scoliosis of infants

Infantile idiopathic scoliosis is a structural spinal deformity found within 3 years of age. This type is relatively common in Europe and less than 1% of patients with idiopathic scoliosis in the United States. Early diagnosis of infantile idiopathic scoliosis is very important, and parents and pediatricians should closely observe this. Because early treatment affects prognosis, it should be treated early.
