Dull pain
Hidden pain in Chinese medical terms. Refers to pain faintly, or faint. Hidden pain is mostly deficient, often due to loss of yin and blood, or lack of yang, resulting in insufficiency of the meridians. Painful head pain, loss of yin and blood; Painful chest pain, weakness of heart qi; Painful pain in ribs, deficiency of liver and yin; Painful pain in stomach and sacrum, deficiency of stomach yin, or deficiency of spleen and stomach; Painful pain seen in teeth, disturbed by fire, Qi and blood are deficient; hidden pain is found in shoulders and waists, which is mostly evidence of wind cold and dampness.
