Local swelling and pain in the vaginal opening
Vestibular gland cysts are common benign cystic lesions. The cysts are well-defined and do not change for many years. In the case of concurrent infection, localized swelling and pain, or discharge of pus, is effective for antibacterial treatment. Chronic inflammation of the vestibular gland thickens the surrounding tissues and is locally firm. When diagnosis is difficult, a diagnosis is often required.
