Olfactory allergy

Olfactory allergy: Increased sensitivity to olfactory odor stimuli. It is a clinical manifestation of olfactory disorders. Olfactory disorder refers to the reduction, loss, or abnormality of part or all of the olfactory function. The olfactory nerve is the nerve fiber that the olfactory epithelium passes through the sieve plate to the olfactory bulb. The olfactory ability is a characteristic of olfactory cells in the nasal mucosa. Damage to the nasal mucosa, olfactory bulb, olfactory filament, or central nervous system connection may affect the sense of smell. The clinical manifestations are hyposmia, loss of smell, loss of smell, olfactory inversion, phantom smell, and increased sensitivity to olfactory stimulation.
