Obstruction of sternal foreign body obstruction and pain

If the foreign body is in the esophagus of the thoracic segment, there is no obvious obstruction or only the foreign body obstruction and hidden pain behind the sternum. Esophageal foreign bodies often occur in young children and the elderly who lack teeth. They are often swallowed to form esophageal foreign bodies due to content in the mouth, eating too fast, swallowing, swallowing, or feeling insensitive when the dentures of the elderly are chewed, or loose dentures fall off during sleep.
