Slow sexual development
Sexual infancy is also called sexual dysgenesis. The normal development of the sexual organs is regulated by hormones in the thalamus-pituitary-gonad endocrine axis. If the above-mentioned endocrine organs are diseased, the secretion of the corresponding hormones is significantly reduced, or lacked, which can lead to hypoplasia of the sexual organs. None of the patients with sexual immature had secondary sexual characteristics, and their genitals were immature. Because the location of the primary lesion is different and the types of hormones lacking have different effects on systemic development, such as growth hormone deficiency caused by pituitary lesions, the patient manifests as dwarfism; if male patients have only androgen deficiency, long bone crest Delayed fusion, unusual height, lower body length is longer than upper body length, so tall when standing and short when sitting. Female patients suffer from estrogen deficiency and the main clinical manifestations are primary amenorrhea. Some normal people have late puberty, which can be delayed by 2-4 years compared with the average person. Some men have sexual development even after 18 years of age. They often have a family history, which is called delayed puberty, which is not a pathological category. Therefore, in the diagnosis of infantile disease, the delay of puberty in normal people should be excluded.
