Lower eyelid eversion
Eyelid eversion is the inversion of the conjunctiva of the lower eyelid, causing the eyelid and eyeball to not be in close contact, and the palpebral fissure closed. The conjunctiva is prone to chronic conjunctivitis due to long-term exposure after eversion, leading to increased secretions, dry membranes, hypertrophy, and congestion. Lower eyelid eversion, tears can not occur because the punctum can not be close to the eyeball.
