Increased cellular infection

Cytomegalovirus infection is a sexually transmitted disease caused by cytomegalovirus (cmv). Cytomegalovirus is a DNA virus. Characteristic lesions are enlarged infected cells, eosinophilic and basophilic inclusions appearing in the nucleus and cytoplasm, respectively. CMV infections are distributed worldwide, and humans are the sole host of CMV. Different countries and different economic conditions have different infection rates. Adult CMV infection is closely related to immune function.
