Painless oral ulcer

Mouth ulcers are superficial ulcers that occur on the oral mucosa. The size can range from rice grains to the size of soybeans, round or oval, the surface of the ulcer is concave, and the surrounding blood is congested. It can cause pain due to irritating food. Generally one to two Weeks can heal themselves. Painless oral ulcers are one of the criteria for the diagnosis of Wegener's granuloma proposed by the American Rheumatism Association. Wegener's granulomatosis is characterized by progressive necrotizing granulomas and extensive microangiitis. It mainly affects the respiratory tract, kidneys, skin and other organs and produces corresponding clinical manifestations.
