Unable to count pulses per minute
Most are arrhythmias. Generally the heart beats very regularly. When the heart beats too fast, too slowly, or intermittently, it is called arrhythmia. Arrhythmias can be detected by touching the radial artery with a hand, but detailed examinations must rely on an electrocardiogram. In daily life, the heart rate of normal people is roughly 50-100 times per minute. When the heart beats more than 100 times per minute, it is called tachycardia. When the heart beats less than 60 times per minute, it is called bradycardia.
