Headache
Headache usually refers to the pain confined to the upper half of the skull, including the eyebrow arch, the upper edge of the ear wheel and the line above the extraoccipital bulge. It is caused by abnormal nerve impulses transmitted to the brain due to stimulation of head and neck pain receptors. The etiology is more complicated and can be caused by intracranial lesions, extracranial head and neck lesions, physical diseases outside the head and neck, neurosis, and mental illness. In general, mild to fatigue and colds can cause headaches, and severe ones may be caused by migraines or brain tumors.
