Skeletal muscle contraction
Whole body skeletal muscle contraction is also clinically called full body skeletal muscle spasm, which refers to the sudden involuntary contraction of muscles, commonly known as cramps, which will cause patients with sudden pain and uncoordinated muscle movements. Straightening the muscles of the affected area by the patient, usually reduces the degree of spasm.
