Gas stagnation
Qi stagnation, disease name. Refers to the stagnation of viscera and meridian. Can be caused by dietary wickedness, or Qiqing depression, or frail Qi. Different symptoms occur depending on where you are staying. Qi stagnation in the spleen reduces gastric appetite, fullness and pain; Qi stagnation in the liver causes liver Qi to be reversed, and flank pain is irritable; Qi stagnation in the lungs causes lungs to be unclear, and sputum is coughing. Qi stagnation in the meridian is pain or dyskinesia in the relevant part of the meridian route, or the corresponding symptoms. Qi stagnation can even cause blood stasis.
