Substantial, non-pitted sclerosis of the skin is one of the clinical manifestations of scleredema in adults. Adult scleredema (adult scleredema) is a rare disease that is characterized by the sudden onset of diffuse, symmetric skin stiffness. Most often occur after infectious diseases, and can resolve on their own after several years.
