Atrophic rhinitis

Atrophic rhinitis is a slow-developing nasal atrophic inflammation characterized by atrophy of the nasal mucosa, periosteum, and bone. Those with severe and typical stench are called ozena. It usually starts in puberty and is more common in women than men.
