Myxedema face

Myxedema is a characteristic feature of hypothyroidism in adulthood. TCM believes that it is a syndrome of deficiency of spleen qi and kidney yang; western medicine believes that it is more common in hypothyroidism. Defacement and hypopituitarism can also be seen in such faces.
