Mucosal rash

The rash is light red when it first appears, and gradually becomes dark red or bronze. It is not painful, itchy, different in size, large in number, symmetrically distributed, isolated and scattered. It mostly occurs on the chest, abdomen, side of the trunk and back, but It rarely happens on the face. Patients who are weak and malnourished can develop syphilitic impetigo, often accompanied by high fever and systemic symptoms.
