Foreskin
Foreskin refers to the skin of the penis that folds into a double layer at the head of the penis. The foreskin is longer in infancy, and the penis and the outer mouth of the urethra cannot be exposed around the penis. Called physiological phimosis, it increases with age. The penis and foreskin develop gradually. By puberty, the foreskin shrinks back until the adult glans is exposed, but about 30% of adults still completely cover the penis glans.
