Buried tooth

The clinical manifestations of Gardner syndrome show abnormal tooth development, such as polytooths, dental tumors, and buried teeth. Gardner syndrome is also known as Weiner-Gardner syndrome, familial multiple colon polyp-osteoma-soft tissue tumor syndrome, and familial colon polyposis is a chromosomal dominant genetic disease, which is a multi-faceted manifestation of a single gene. In 1905, Gardner reported that colon polyposis, familial osteoma, soft tissue tumors, and colon cancer had more opportunities. Later, in 1958, Smith proposed that the triad of colon polyps, soft tissue tumors, and osteoma was the underlying mechanism of Gardner syndrome. Colon polyps are adenomatous polyps, and bone tumors with a cancer rate of 50% are benign. Affects both men and women and has a family history
