Extracranial headache
The most important and common extracranial headache is vascular headache: presenting pulsatile or bloating pain consistent with pulse. Lowering your head, heating, exerting force, or coughing can all make headaches worse. Examination showed that the temporal artery was bulging, the pulsation increased, and the headache could be relieved after compression.
