Lacrimal gland inflammation
Lymphatic reticulocytes around the lacrimal gland excretory system have a certain resistance to bacterial and viral infections. When autoimmune is not enough to fight the infection of the germ, it invades the lacrimal gland and becomes inflamed. Caused by various infectious diseases, such as mumps, influenza, typhoid fever, pneumonia, acute laryngitis, etc., can also be the result of the spread of surrounding tissue inflammation. In addition, there are also unknown reasons, generally known as primary, bilateral or unilateral onset, lacrimal glands are more easily affected than orbital lacrimal glands.
