Ischemic necrosis of the appendix wall
The so-called ischemic necrosis of the appendix wall is that the intraluminal pressure continues to increase, the appendix wall is also compressed, venous return is blocked, the appendix wall is edema and ischemia, and bacteria can penetrate the abdominal cavity. In severe cases, the arteries are also blocked, causing necrosis of the appendix. The site of luminal obstruction is mostly at the root of the appendix, but also in the middle and distal parts of the appendix.
