Enuresis in children
Enuresis in children refers to the fact that children over 5 years of age cannot control their own urination, and their beds are often wet at night, and sometimes there are pants in the daytime. Urination during sleep at night due to irritation of the urethra, spinal disease, diabetes, etc. is not enuresis. Childhood is more common. According to statistics, wetting bedtime accounts for 10-20% of children at the age of 4 and a half, with the highest incidence among children aged 6-7. About 5% at 9 years old, and only 2% of people still wet at 15 years old. The sex ratio of this disease is about 2: 1 for boys and girls. Most of the children with enuresis have a higher self-healing rate after a few years of onset, but there are also some children whose symptoms will persist into adulthood if left untreated.
