Fear of neck flexion

Patients with cervical spinal stenosis often keep the neck in a natural supine position (functional position), and can bend forward, afraid of supine extension. However, if the patient is accompanied by obvious degenerative changes and bone spurs are formed at the posterior edge of the vertebra, then they are also afraid of forward flexion.
