Myopia astigmatism
Myopic astigmatism, also known as pure myopic astigmatism, refers to parallel rays entering the eye. One parallel ray on the main meridian is imaged on the retina, and another parallel ray on the meridian perpendicular to it is imaged on the retina. Focused on the retina, parallel light is reflected, focused in front of the retina, and collected light is reflected, so it must be corrected with a concave cylinder.
