Mixed acid-base disorders
Mixed acid-base balance disorder refers to the existence of two or more simple acid-base balance disorders in the same patient at the same time. There are four types of simple acid-base balance disorders, namely metabolic acidosis, metabolic alkalosis, respiratory acidosis, and respiratory alkalosis. Respiratory acidosis and respiratory alkalosis cannot coexist at the same time, so according to the permutation and combination, we can know that there are 5 types of acid-base balance disorders: metabolic acidosis + respiratory acidosis, metabolic alkalosis + breathing Alkali poisoning, metabolic alkalosis + respiratory acidosis, metabolic acidosis + respiratory alkalosis, metabolic alkalosis + metabolic acidosis. The first two are additive and the last three are additive. There are only two types of three types of acid-base disorders: metabolic acidosis + metabolic alkalosis + respiratory acidosis, metabolic acidosis + metabolic alkalosis + respiratory alkalosis. For the types and characteristics of the above various mixed acid-base disorders, see Tables 13-15.
