Airway obstruction

Lesions that occur in any part of the airway can cause airway obstruction, causing breathing difficulties. The cause of obstruction can be mechanical obstructions inside or outside the airways, such as tumors or foreign bodies, or airway stenosis caused by airway smooth muscle spasm, such as bronchial asthma caused by bronchospasm.
