Increased red blood cell volume
The width of the red blood cell volume distribution is a parameter reflecting the heterogeneity of the red blood cell volume, and the coefficient of variation of the measured red blood cell volume is often used. This is a parameter measured by a blood analyzer that reflects the volume heterogeneity of the surrounding red blood cells. In short, it is an objective indicator that reflects the size of red blood cells. The morphological classification of anemia is generally performed through two parameters, RDW and MCV.
