Massive proliferation of osteophytes

"Bone hyperplasia" is commonly known as "bone spurs" or "osteophytes", which refers to abnormal bone hyperplasia on the edges of bone joints, and is also clinically called "osteoarthritis." Also known as "degenerative osteoarthropathy" and "hypertrophic osteoarthritis" are an imaging manifestation of osteoarthritis, which is a secondary disease following the destruction of joint cartilage, and belongs to the degenerative changes of bone, that is, "Bone aging."
