Epiphyseal closure
Precocious puberty children develop early, and it is likely that bone age develops before they reach the age of development, and the epiphysis closes early, making them generally short in adulthood. The epiphysis is a secondary ossification center that appears at different times after the birth of the child. The epiphysis and epiphyseal plate are the growth areas of immature long bones of the extremities. They are also the weakest and most vulnerable parts of children's bones.
