Bone stops developing

Bone development stops when the bones stop developing at a certain age. This age refers to the age of the bones, not the actual age of our lives. How long our height can grow depends on the growth plate of the whole body being closed. If the growth plate is closed, it means that the bones have matured, the bones no longer grow, and the height will not increase.
