Femoral nerve damage

Femoral nerve damage is part of diabetic polyneuritis and is sometimes accompanied by damage to other peripheral nerves. Diabetic patients may gradually develop quadriceps atrophy, weakened muscles, and abnormal thigh sensations. This indicates that the femoral nerve is damaged.
