Cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy is a type of chronic cervicitis. Inflammatory changes caused by pathogen infection of the cervical mucosa. The pathogens that cause the disease include mycoplasma, chlamydia, bacteria, and viruses. Simple hypertrophy does not affect pregnancy. Severe cervicitis can cause endometritis, fallopian tube ovitis, fallopian tube adhesion, and obstruction, leading to infertility. Cervical hypertrophy generally does not require treatment. If it is erosive, it can be used to treat cervical erosion.
