Anal microscopy of anal sinusitis revealed marked congestion, edema, and deepening of the crypts, as well as anal secretions. Anal sinusitis (anal sinusitis), also known as anal cryptitis, is an inflammatory lesion in the anal sinus and anal glands. It is an important potentially infectious lesion. About 85% of anorectal lesions are related to anal sinus infection.
