Vulvar amoebiasis
Vulvar amoebiasis is a disease caused by the infiltration of histolytic amoeba into the skin and mucous membranes of the vulva. It is mostly secondary to intestinal amoebiasis. It is caused by direct infection of amoeba trophozoites in the intestine and invades the vulva and vagina. The vulvar mucosa is necrotic and forms an ulcer.
