Abnormal fecal excretion
Abnormal stool excretion (urgency, endless defecation, and effort) is one of the clinical diagnoses of irritable bowel syndrome. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a condition associated with changes in gastrointestinal function, with chronic or recurrent abdominal pain, diarrhea, bowel habits and abnormal stool characteristics as the main symptoms, and lack of gastrointestinal structure or biochemical abnormalities. The syndrome often coexists with other functional diseases of the gastrointestinal tract such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and functional dyspepsia (FD).
