Nonblood ascites

Free fluid that accumulates in the abdominal cavity. A small amount of liquid can be found in the abdominal cavity of a normal person, which acts as a lubricant on the internal organs. Ascites can be caused by heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, tuberculosis, malignant tumor and other diseases, and is a common clinical sign. According to its properties, it can be divided into leakage or exudate; non-blood ascites can be divided into serous or chyle according to its appearance.
